NPPF 2021 Michel du Cille Fellowship Recipient

Matt Black, a California Central Valley based photojournalist, is the recipient of the 2021 NPPF Michel du Cille Fellowship. He will receive $15,000 to help fund his project, “Beyond Flint: America’s Dwindling Access to Clean Water” focusing on the lack of clean drinking water in the United States.

NPPF 2021 Alan Hagman Grant Recipient

Melissa Lyttle, a Washington, D.C.-based visual journalist, is the winner of the 2021 NPPF Alan Hagman Grant. She will receive $5,000 to help fund her project, “Where They Stood,” which focuses on the removal of long-standing Confederate monuments.
