Michel du Cille Memorial
Michel du Cille, three-time Pulitzer winner, died of an apparent heart attack while on assignment on his Ebola story in Liberia. Donald Winslow’s story, written for NPPA’s website about Michel’s life and death, may be read here. See the video from NABJ.
Among Michel’s many service activities to the profession, he was a member of the Board of Director’s of the National Press Photographer’s Foundation. Michel’s wife, Nikki Kahn, has designated NPPF for those wishing to make gifts in Michel’s memory. NPPF is a 501 (c) (3) organization. People making gifts of $1,000 or more will receive The Foundation Medal. Contributions of any amount are appreciated.
