Job Description:
Staff photojournalist at KGNS-TV in Laredo, TX (#185). Work together with a reporter daily to generate a pkg, VOSOTS and content for the weekend shows. Daily work on delivering a live shot using a cell phone and ENG gear. Quick turn arounds for package and VO. Help manage and maintain archive.

Personal Statement:
My short term goal is to step up and fill the missing spot of Chief Photographer at our small market station. My Long term goal is breaking into a top 10 market and/or work for network, which ever allows me to make meaningful and creative content as part of a team. In our station we do not have a Chief Photographer or someone with advanced knowledge of story telling to guide the rest of the photography team and the MMJs crafting visual stories. Being from a small market and just the overall state of the news industry and beyond, It is difficult to pay for a workshop of this cost (plus the flight, hotel and food). Therefore I saved up some to put towards the expenses but would appreciate the extra help to get a good formal training.
