The NPPF provides scholarships and grants for students and working photojournalists to advance in their craft.  We honor Michel du Cille and his commitment and vision.

Michel du Cille Memorial Print Auction

Sponsored by National Press Photographers Foundation and Northern Short Course.

We have established the Michel du Cille Memorial Fund to commemorate the life of this renowned photojournalist, who died suddenly while on assignment for The Washington Post in Liberia.

Michel, an NPPF board member and long-time NSC supporter, dedicated his life to documentary photojournalism. His accolades include three Pulitzer Prizes while working at the Washington Post and the Miami Herald.

The Print Auction is the main source of ongoing funding for the du Cille Fellowship and NSC scholarship.
