Seasons End During the first two weeks of October, a handful of workers on Ripley Farm -- family and hired help alike -- exist in a nearly constant state of harvest to reap 600 acres of corn for their dairy cows. Oldest of Dan and Shari's children, Daniel Ripley, 20. works full time on on the farm while attending college at SUNY Morrisville pursuing Dairy Sciences. Jonah Ripley, 4, rests in a hammock in the wooded area outside his family's home and farm, while his sister, Keziah, 9, walks deeper down the wooded path. Jonah proudly explains that another sister, Abigail, 17, had hung the hammock for herself in a secluded place to hide, but he and Keziah had found it. Keziah and Jonah play in the corn Jonah Ripley hugs a baby chick given to his sister, Keziah, by a family friend, only that morning. All rights reserved.
