Fetty Fetty Wap performing at House of Blues Boston on February 8th, 2016. After opening acts by his crew of rapper friends, the New Jersey native took to the stage for his “Welcome to the Zoo” tour. Fetty Wap, born Willie Maxwell II, has become well known after his debut single “Trap Queen” went platinum. Fans anxiously awaited Fetty’s performance all night and erupted in cheers when he stepped on stage. Most in the audience were college students from nearby Boston schools. Fetty’s deejay kept the crowd hyped in between sets. Fetty rapped his well known lyrics as the crowd sang along. Opting for flash lights instead of lighters, fans waved their phones in the air during one of Fetty’s popular hits. Fetty flashes a smile as he dances on stage. Fetty Wap loses himself in the moment, dancing along with his fans. Fans hold up posters with Fetty’s slogan “1738.” The number refers to 1738 Remy Martin cognac. Fetty wraps up his performance with a smile and a ‘thank you’ to his fans.
