I produced this piece during the 2013 Carolina Photojournalism Workshop. It was a part of the larger project, “Heart of the High Country,” which highlighted some stories from North Carolina’s mountain town of Banner Elk.

This multimedia was a solo project where I was the photographer, interviewer and editor of the piece.

I am responsible for everything in the video – photography, audio gathering and editing.

I was responsible for 100% of this video. I produced it for my introduction to multimedia class.

I was responsible for 90% of this video. I produced it during my school’s Fall Workshop, under the guidance of my coach. However, I shot all the footage, captured all the audio, and edited the final piece.

I took the pictures, I recorded all the audio, and I edited it all together using Final Cut Pro.

This piece was created by four journalists who all had varying roles. I acted as a main shooter, I wrote the script and working with the subject on editing his poetry.

The main purpose for me is this assignment was to highlight the individuals who are representing the cultural social movements through continuing on to express and teach or pass on the history down to other generations.

The main purpose for me in this assignment is to capture the people sponsoring and/or participating in this social activism event happening on campus through photography, thus allowing students to be socially aware of the events on campus.

The main purpose for me in this news article is to highlight how the McNair Scholars program benefits students at University of North Texas through the success of another McNair Scholar story.

I was the sole contributor to this story. I filmed, edited and produced this piece.

I produced, filmed and edited this story in conjunction with Chris Council during my internship at the Aspen Daily News. Chris and I had equal roles as filmers, editors and producers along every step of the way. The story was originally published on Aspen Public Radio’s website, and I have since made changes to the final edit.

I filmed, edited and produced this piece. I used music from Johnny Ripper according to the rights granted by the artist.

This project was produced only by me. I contacted subjects, filmed and edited. The video piece was presented as an assignment for Micro-Documentary Photojournalism and Videography course at the Missouri School of Journalism.

This piece was filmed in Costa Rica in the summer of 2013. I made the interviews because I was the only one speaking Spanish from our team. I shot Greivin playing basketball and some other scenes. I did the most of the editing and subtitling.

I shot and edited the piece. It is a short story about my classmate for a class assignment.

A reenactment of how Britney Stutz and Chris Kelly started their five-year relationship. In high school, Kelly passed Britney a note in class asking her out on a date. She said yes.

I took the photos, compiled the multimedia show, wrote the narrative and did the voice over. My bureau chief edited my narration.

I compiled every part of this multimedia package.

Three of the photos featured in this multimedia narrative were taken by me.
