Below is a video interview with John and Lois Ahlhauser. You will learn how John passed a one-credit photo course with six assignments that launched his career. The course was taught by Bob Gilka. John remenises about his career at the Milwaukee Journal and the ideas that lead him to pursue graduate work at Indiana University, which resulted in him becoming a professor there. One segment features John talking about Michel du Cille and Michel talking about John. John Ahlhauser was an innovator and leader in the National Press Photographers Association and was a founder of the National Press Photographers Foundation.
